19 August 2007 Dad and I took our GTIs along to the annual VW Festival at Harewood House near Leeds. We even managed to get the ladies to accompany us! I would like to think they were drawn by the irresistable pull of hundreds of beautiful cars, but I think it had more to do with looking round Harewood House whilst Dad and I did our geeky car stuff :) Well, the weather was just dreadful - exactly what you always fear at these outdoor events. Jut check out some of the pics of the mud! Cars were getting stuck all over the place, but it didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits. There was such an awesome array of cars on display it was difficult to decide where to start. Even walking round the car park was an utter delight. Here's looking forward to next year's festival! :)
