September 2007 My car has had a few bits of rust that needed sorting but time and money kept holding me back. Originally I was going to get some professionals to do it for me, but after receiving mixed responses from various bodyshops in York I decided to give it a try myself - with lots of help from Dad of course! There was a rather nasty but quite self contained bit of rust that had eaten all the way through the front wing just behind the wheelarch, a less serious bit on the rear wing and quite a bit round the nearside wheel arch, underneath the trim. Plus lots of stone ships and tiny rust bubbles that just needed touching up. It's all finished now and the paint job looks pretty damn smart! You have to look pretty hard to see that anything has been done :)
